This pattern makes a cute summer top however it is quite bulky with the amount of fabric used. An easy fix would be to shorten the width. Overall, the pattern is easy and the top is cute.

I made this and it is very cute but I should of used lighter fabric. With all the gathering it just felt heavy when I was done. This can be worn in mid summer or with a shirt under it when weather is cooler. I just love this top.

This is an adorable, easy to follow ebook on how to create THE CUTEST top/dress ever. Once I made the first shirt and saw how darling it turned out, I was able to whip out a second shirt that same evening and two more the next day in no time. The pictures are helpful and the directions are easy to follow. I did modify the directions a bit. I used single layer fabrics for each of the two layers instead of doubling them up. The double layered layers makes for a very heavy top if you use quality apparel fabric.
