With more than 40 years sewing experience I found this pattern to be a fun pattern to work with, I made it in a couple of hours and enjoyed every moment of it. For beginner sewers, I suggest taking it slowly, reading carefully and following the instructions to the letter and you to will have a beautiful elephant to keep or a go, its not that hard, and the finished elephant is worth

This finished elephant turned out to be the cutest toy I've made. I made it as a baby shower gift & it was the hit of the party. I will be making more of these in the future, but I would not recommend this pattern for a beginner sewer.
