The Louey boxer is named for Carla's boy, who has grown up watching mom work with Sis Boom fabrics. After seeing one girlie confection after another go out the door, Lou is thrilled to have a drawer full of these ultra-cool unisex shorts. Ask Lou and he'll tell you that he can do anything in his Sis Boom boxers; climb trees, run forever in the back yard, help mom plant her garden, or (on the rare occasion) take a nap. They are great shorts for the super-man or super-girl lifestyle. The shorts can be made in a range of lengths, and there are several options for finishing the fly. The single piece seat is perfect for customization - in fact, we’ve included a bonus alphabet and applique instructions. Make up this quick and easy pattern in hundreds of Sis Boom fabric choices. Make them today, but don't be late for school!

Materials needed:

notions:
1.25" wide sew-in sport elastic
small buttons or snaps (for optional fly closure)
fusible web (for optional seat applique)

fabric:
1/2 - 1 yard, depending on size

Love all my Sis Boom patterns and this boxer pattern is no exception. I have both the adult and child sizes for the full range. Very versatile pattern with different lengths and finishes.

Bought this pattern yesterday and have already made 3 pair for the grandsons! Found the directions
to be very detailed and the pictures most helpful. Also purchased the teen/adult pattern and made a pair of those as well. Awesome pattern!! Can't wait to make more!

I found these shorts to be a little fiddly to make, however the final product was worth it! My little guy was so excited with them. It's quite a professional finish.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this pattern! I've made several pairs of these for my two youngest children as PJ shorts....they love them! Super comfortable, super easy to make, great directions and I really like that they are sized so that I can get the fit right for my kids...who are both tall and super skinny. I'm going to purchase the teen/adult size and make some for myself and my teen too! Thanks so much!

This was a perfect fit for my little man. I couldn't find a pattern anywhere else that was small enough. Very well written.

I have had this pattern for ages, but never used it unitl recently. I made matching boxers for my daughters girl scout troop. As usual with the sis boom patterns, it is easy to read and follow. Any of the Sis Boom patterns and Scientific Seamstress patterns are totally worth the money. You will never regret purchasing any of the patterns.
