These fuly lined, little baskets are simple to make. Depending on your choice of fabric, they can be used for:
Easter ,of course
gift basket anytime
My patterns are easy to follow because I write patterns for beginners!
3 pages of detailed, step by step instructions with diagrams and photos. Includes pattern piece to print and pin onto fabric.
I found the instructions were not that easy. The list of materials did not include interfacing or chenille sticks. I didn't care for the way the handles turned out but looking again I see that she sewed the handles although the written instructions don't mention sewing the handles together. I ended up using stiffer interfacing than I liked but there was no indication as to the stiffness to use for the basket. I like the way that the bottom seam is enclosed but the instructions were sparse and my enclosed seam had fabric showing in it. Real beginners shouldn't try this.
made great easter baskets for grands!
