This swimsuit was adorable. I made a 2T and needed the bottoms to go over a swim diaper. My granddaughter wears an 18 - 24 mths or 2T and we get them over her thighs. I cut a pattern from a pair of bloomers and used the same technique as on the pattern. It was perfect for her 2nd birthday!
Also, I had to check on the seam allowance and recieved a response fairly quickly. In case anyone else needs to know, it's 5/8 inch.
i have been sewing for a long time but i found it to be complicated in the directions as well as the bottoms dont fit properly. I think it needs to be redone and retested . Sizing is off.
This is very cute. I found the instructions easy to follow. It DOES run small. Seersucker fabric is cute but you need to consider there is no stretch in this fabric as with swim suit fabric.
The instructions for this pattern were hard to follow. I've been sewing for 30+ years and this one was a little hard to following.
Love this swim suit :)
Very cute pattern. Easy to follow and adorable when finished! Thank You :)
