One pattern making a skirt, shirt and dress. Only four pattern pieces! And the shirt from just ONE pattern piece. All at beginner level sewing? Yes! That’s Simply Dressed. Choose from five sleeve options (short, short cuffed, three quarter, three quarter cuffed, and ruched. Then choose to add pockets to the skirt or not. Add ruffles to the shirt, skirt and dress or not. The options are limitless. Plain or fancy, this is simply your go to pattern for a wardrobe of outfits.

This is an e-pattern.

Suitable fabrics include quilting weight cottons, knits, corduroy, voiles, ginghams, poplins and other shirting weight fabrics. Do NOT use directional fabric for the shirt/ dress top.
Measurements based on 44” wide fabric.

Measurements based on body size, not finished garment size. Appropriate ease is added.
Supplies:
For the shirt of outer fabric and lining:
2T-3T 1 yard each, 4-7 1 ¼ yards each,
8-12 1½ yards each
Fabric must be a nondirectional print. Lining will show with cuffed sleeve option.
2 buttons (optional 5 buttons)
For ruched sleeves: 10” of matching double-fold bias tape and 1 yard 1/8” ribbon
For the skirt:
2T-3T ¾ yard fabric, 4-8 1 yard fabric,
10-12 1¼ yards fabric
Small amount of contrasting fabric for pockets and waistband (¼ yard or scraps from the shirt)
If ruffles are desired, ½ -¾ yard fabric or
¼ yard of 2-3 fabrics
1” non-rolling elastic by the waist size
