These booties and headband are so soft and adorable. The booties are made from fleece and will stay securely on the feet with the elasticized ribbon.
The headband also has the comfortable elasticized ribbon with the same adorable ladybug.
They are very easy to make-even for beginners. A fleece lining is fused to the outside fleece. Then the top and sole shapes are cut out and stitched together. They keep their shape up very well. The outside ladybug is sewn on and stuffed with a little polyester stuffing to add some dimension. The legs are mini pompom fringe and the antennae are ribbons.
This PDF e-pattern includes full size patterns, a materials list, 22 page step-by-step instructions written in English, and a photograph for each step. The booties can be made to fit babies from 0-18 months. Patterns are given for all sizes including a way to adjust the pattern to fit any size larger or smaller that may be desired. Optional instructions are given to make non-skid soles on shoes for babies that are walking.
