“This is a easy pattern and a beautiful item to design. I made two paisr for my friends kitchens and they are HAPPY!> Thank you very much for this pattern”
This is a uniquely shaped pot holder or oven mitt, in that it is house shaped. My dad, a realtor, co - invented this with me, and I make them, for him to give to his customers during the holidays.
The download has 2 sizes, 8x10", and 9 1/2" x 11", to make.
Their is a pocket for the hand to grasp the potholder, and their is a loop on the back to hang the potholder. You can modify the loop, I show it with a metal key chain ring, inserted through the loop. You can also add a button hole at the top, centered, if you wish.
The house shape kitchen potholder is very insulated, I use double the amount of Insul Bright heat reflective batting, and double the amount of Therma Flec, silvecloth, ironing board, utility fabric.
This makes a great gift for a housewarming party, new homeowners, 1st time homeowners, even realtors or mortgage brokers. You can also hang these as pockets to store papers, or what not.
House shape kitchen potholder invention by Kristie Hubler, and Bill Hubler.
2 pattern sizes, and photo & text step by step instructions are in the download.
