These shoes are soft and sweet! They keep their shape very well.
They are easy to make - even for beginners! You don’t have to make separate linings for the shoes or a closure. Wool felt was used for the lining of the sample shoes. You can also use acrylic felt. Cotton batik fabric was used for the outside of the sample shoes. You can also use denim, linen, flannel, etc. The blanket stitch is embroidered around the top edges of the shoes. A diagram is included in the pattern for embroidering the blanket stitch.
Shoes will fit babies from newborn to approximately 14 months. Four sizes of shoes are included in pattern - lengths of finished soles are 4”, 4.25”, 4.5” and 4.75”. Optional instructions are given to put a non-skid sole on shoes for babies that are walking.

Sweet little shoes - easy to follow directions.
Thank you so much for this pattern. I had a pattern for little girls shoes and had a request for matching boy shoes to go with an applique onesie I made. I found this pattern and it was super easy, and did not disappoint! Thank you again!
Love these! So simple to make and easy to embellish. Instructions are great. I have several Precious Patterns patterns, and each one is fantastic.
Use leftover fabric from a dress project to make adorable slippers.
