Why spend money on the same shirt year after year, when you can make your own? I have create a PDF pattern that includes sizes 18m-6. This modern twist on an old classic will certainly make other moms stop and ask you where you purchased this shirt; and you can proudly tell them that you made it yourself.
The added bonus of buying a PDF pattern is that you don't have to trace the pattern pieces each time you want to make a new shirt. All you have to do is print out the pattern and cut the size you want to make.
The instructions are broken down into sections and give a detailed step-by-step explanation on how to construction each pieces.
Note: These are downloadable instructions and pattern pieces for making shirt. Since it is a download, a window will open to download and when you are signed into your user account at the time of purchase, it will also be located in the "My Library" section of your user account immediately after purchase.

This was so easy and the directions were GREAT!!!!
Brilliant- this pattern came true to size and the instructions were very clear- I'd never made a shirt before so was a tad nervous but this came out beautifully with the exception of the stitches my machine skipped. It's now been sent to servicing so will have another go once it's back. Definitely recommend this pattern.
this shirt turned out beautiful!
i have never sewn a shirt and the instrutions were easy to follow.
i added another pocket to the other side and some trim to make a little cowgirl shirt for my daughter. it was adorable!
To make this shirt you will need:
• 1 yard of fabric (suggested fabrics: light to medium-weight woven fabric, i.e. quilting cotton, chambray, or linen.)
• 1/4 yard fusible interfacing
• sewing machine
• thread (matching color)
• 5 buttons (1/2" - line 20)
• water-soluble fabric-marking pen or tailor's chalk
• pinking shears
• tracing wheel and carbon paper
Sewing curved seams, top stitching, applying fusible interfacing, buttonhole, hand-stitching.
This is a great project for someone who has sewn from a pattern before or has taken a sewing class or two.
Pattern pieces include 1/2" seam allowance (unless otherwise noted), hem allowances, and button hole extensions are also included.
Patterns are made to be printed on US Letter paper (8.5"x11"), so pattern pieces will need to be assembled as directed in the instructions. You will not be asked to scale to fit or crop any of the pattern pieces; All pattern pieces are at 100% scale. I've also included a "Test Square" to make sure your printer is printing the pattern pieces correctly.
