Easy-to-follow simple, flat construction method for a fully lined tote with optional pockets that's just the right size for everything! Lots of photos and drawings with clearly written step-by-step listed instructions; and pattern pieces to cut out and pin onto fabric to cut. This has all straight seams. Anyone who has some basic sewing skills should be able read and follow this pattern.

Use woven fabric. (cotton or decorator fabrics )
½ yard for main body outside of tote & handles
²/3 yard for main body lining of tote & pockets
¼ yard for top band
¼ yard for handles, if using fabric other than main bag exterior
1½ yard stiff fusible interfacing, such as Pellon’s Craft Fuse #808 or Décor Bond #809
Thread, polyester regular weight.
Size 14 or 16 sewing machine needle
OPTIONAL: 10x5 in. mat board for bottom and fabric to cover it.
