What a great pattern, made this for my Auzzie Grand daughters, Love love love this pattern. I gathered the skirts as I just couldn't get all that fabric pleated into the bodice, but no matter the dresses turned out awesome.

What is there not to love about this design?? I adore this dress and I've had many compliments on the finished product. I actually messed up a part on the directions and somehow put the straps on backwards ( the buttons are on the back of the dress and not the front) but I actually like it better and made a second dress the same way LOL. It was also really easy to make the dress a bit longer. I will be making many more of this style!

I have made many of these for my stepdaughter, and a couple for sale as well. Very easy to change up for different ideas, use all one fabric or a few different fabrics, made one with a knot tie instead of buttons! Very easy instructions and love the pleats vs gathers...I like the classic pleats. :)

I purchased this pattern because I just loved the double layer design. I am a sewing beginner and I found the instructions very easy and straightforward. I created a beautiful dress for my 7 year old and most importantly, she loves it! Instructions are very clear and detailed even for a beginner! The pleating instructions are great, and I just love the design it creates. Thank you for a great pattern!

This dress is beautiful! I made one for my 4 year old daughter and plan to make many more. Instead of buttons, I put snaps, and did not put the pocket on the bodice. This dress completed also looks VERY expensive (and would be to buy)
