I would recommend only using acrylic beads if you are beading for babies. Also, I would use the strongest beading wire you can (i.e. the 49 strand would be very strong) or use strong fishing line. To do this would ensure safety and strength for this type of baby item. Glass beads can break (I've had that happen) and could cause harm to the baby if touched or swallowed. At least acrylic beads aren't as harmful or breakable. Thanks for a cute design idea.
