“Great pattern! Easy to follow directions!”

This PDF e-book has directions to make a padded, zippered sleeve or bag for a Kindle, Kindle 2, Kindle DX, Nook, Nook Color, New Nook, and iPad. There is a deep pocket inside to hold accessories. I have included the directions to determine the measurements to adapt this pattern to other devices.

This e-book is 31 pages with 65 instructional photos.

*Note: These are downloadable instructions and pattern for making a sleeve/bag. Pattern pieces are included. Since it is a download, you will receive this by email and it will also be located in the "My Library" section of your user account immediately after purchase.

This is a very good pattern but I found the sleeve measurements a bit tight. I lined it in thin fleece and use batting, but iron-on batting and fleece are also mentioned in the pattern. When it was finished, I found that it was a tight fit for an iPad(1) -- I would add a extra inch to the length. Also, remember to tuck in the ends of the zippers toward the lining, otherwise you will see the tails on the outside (or use fabric tabs to cover them up).

I loved this pattern- the instructions were easy to follow, even for someone like me who'd never braved zippers before! I made two of these for Christmas gifts, one for an iPad and one for a Nook, and they turned out great!
