The Pat A Cake Dress is designed in the style of a vintage baby circle dress, which gives it lots of swing! The ruffled hem is icing on the cake. The open back closes with a single tie, making this dress perfect for showing off pretty diaper covers, shorts and pants. No buttons or fasteners are needed, and I even show you how to create your own bias bindings for the straps, armholes and ties.

Full size printable patterns include for 5 sizes from 0-3 months through 18-24 months.

Pattern does not include diaper cover or bloomers.

I love how the dress flares out like a swing dress. It is cute in any fabric, but seeing the example in
the blue with extra large white and yellow flowers has sent me on a mission to find the same fabric.

Great pattern and directions. Very cute dress. My daughter was complimented everywhere we went. I made it reversible an paired it with the ruffle bloomers. :)

I made this dress last week for my granddaughter. I made it out of red bandana and trimmed it in demin. Made the diaper cover out of demin to look like jeans, put yoke and 2 two pockets and topstitch all in red. I turn out so cute I will be making more of these.
