“this pattern is perfect! took the guess work out for the perfect ruffled but diaper cover! love it and I have made several different ones and I love it! my grandbaby looks too cute in these! thanks for the great pattern and even easier too understand instructions!!!!!”

Sew these adorable ruffled diaper covers in SIX sizes from a true newborn size (perfect for coming home or newborn portraits!) through 18-24 months. Step-by-step photographed instructions show you exactly how to sew the diaper cover so the ruffles are built right into the diaper cover, not merely stitched to the surface. The design also ensures no elastic touches baby's skin. You'll love the professional result and will be layering this under dresses, with onesies and tops for all occasions, baby gifts, portraits and more!

You do NOT need a serger to make this diaper cover. I give complete instructions for both serger and regular sewing machine.

21 pages of photos, instructions and professional, computer-drafted printable pattern pieces.

I love this pattern. The pattern was very well written and easy to follow, the pictures in the instructions were helpful. I made 4 pair of covers to match 2 reversible open back dresses. I will be using this pattern to make many more. I loved using my serger to make the rolled hem on the ruffles. These went together from start (including cutting out) to finish in less than an hour.

Another great pattern from the Tie Dye Diva! Due to my own error, my serger ate the first pair I made as I was adding the third careful when serging! Also, I discovered that you can make a sweet no-ruffle diaper cover simply by cutting off three inches at the top of the "back" pattern piece, skipping the instructions related to the ruffles (pages 3-7), and proceeding on page 8 with putting the diaper cover together. No need to buy a separate pattern.

Really cute and came out adorable. Only wish there was instructions to put the ruffle on the top as well as sewn in. I need to make another pair where they want them on top and not in a guess I will figure it out for myself.

I have made several pairs of these ruffled diaper covers. My new granddaughter looked adorable in her newborn picture wearing a pair made of pink gingham. I found this a very easy pattern to make. I don't think I personally would want to make this without a serger with a rolled hem attachment because I hate making narrow hems.
