Love the way it falls and the different colours just blend together. Was not too hard to make, I did it all on the serger except the waistband.

I didn't like the surged hem so I finished it with a turned under edge. It was quite a bit of extra work but has paid off since the first skirt was just handed down after being worn for 3 years. I'd say it was well worth my time. Quality fabric and quality sewing pay off.

This is a great skirt pattern and my daughter LOVES how twirly it is. Very quick to sew up once you get your pieces cut out. As others mentioned, I too had trouble with the serged hem. It's difficult to serge on a curve with the knife down, especially the sharp angles between fabrics on the hem of this skirt. Next time I will probably try to just serge straight across the bottom, which means I'll cut off some bigger strips from the hem but then I won't have to worry about not catching all of the material with the serger thread.

I love how this pattern turns out. It was pretty easy to sew and I've already made two of them since I bought the pattern. I easily complete the first one in a single afternoon. I added some adorable ruffles onto some of the spiral sections and I just adore how it turned out.

Made 4 of these skirts for xmas presents. Had GREAT difficulty with the hem - did not understand pattern and could not see what was done on the poor quality photo of the hem. And like most patterns on the internet one needed the waist measurement and this can be difficult to obtain when the child does not live with you! (and the parents are nonsewing parents and provide various measurements for the waist). I now need to adjust 3 of the 4 skirts for waist and length! Thank goodness they will be smaller rather than larger!

Loved the pattern. Super easy. I was disappointed in the directions for heming. Wish there had been more of a picture of how to hem with the surger. Wasn't sure what was meant. It came out OK but I had difficulty with the hem.

LOVE this pattern. My daughter was the hit of her 5th grade promotion with the one I made for her. Now her only problem is deciding which fabrics she wants me to use for the next one. Thank You.

OMG! This pattern is awesome! I have made alot of these now and I am so impressed with how each of them has come out. I have had people ask where I got it, and I love being able to tell them that I made it myself. Thank-you so much for such an easy to use pattern!

I searched everywhere for a redondo skirt in small sizes and it came down to this or Farbenmix. I'm so glad I chose this one!! Thought this would be complicated, but it was so easy and quick to make! I made mine in a smaller size by omitting 2 of the spiral sections and it worked out great. Looks very professional as well!
