IMPORTANT NOTE:

**When you go to print your pattern pages, be sure in the "print" menu that the box that says, "Shrink oversizes pages to paper size" is NOT checked. This box is found in your print menu. You want the pages to print to full size and scale, so again, make sure this box is NOT checked. Make sure the box that says "auto rotate and center pages" is also NOT checked.

One of the quickest tops I've ever made even with the ruffles. I like patterns with options and this one has them. Great pattern.

They came out so stunning and I've already recieved so many compliments. No one can believe that I actually made them! Keep the books coming b/c I will definitely be buying again!!

I love the peasant top pattern. It is so versatile! You can make it with long or short sleeves, a ruffle or not, and I've made it in many different colors. It is great to wear on it's own or under something. And it is so easy to make!

My favorite eBook from YCMT is the peasant top eBook from Dainty Designs. I've used that pattern more times than I can even count! The eBook not only allows you to alter the lengths of the sleeves but it can easily be turned into a dress if you wanted and there are so many ways to change it up and make it your own. I love it!

This is a great pattern! I've already made two in less than a week. It is comfortable, cute, stylish, very feminine. My daughter is 9 years old and loves wearing her blouses. She is more a size 10, but is was a cinch to adapt to her size. Also, it was my first time shirring, the instructions were clear and the experience quite amazing.

The instructions for making a peasant top are very clear and easy to understand. I especially appreciated great step by step photos that were extremely helpful for a beginner like myself. I have since made 7 tops all different styles as mentioned in the e-book. I also added a bit of length and came up with a peasant dress that my two youngest daughters just LOVE. We get compliments everywhere we go when they are wearing these. I am a beginner and these instructions made me look like a pro! Thanks so much!

I made so many of this top with different variety mentioned in the ebook. I've even attached it to a twirl skirt and make it in to a dress! This is a great ebook to add to your collection and you will get many use out of it! The Shirring instruction is a bonus! I learned how to shirr from this ebook and after I tried a few time, I am not shirring like a pro! (Almost!)

This is an easy and adorable top. I was able to purchase the pattern and have a completed two in less than 2 hours from the time that I started the purchasing process! I even had time to stop with my children and still get the top done in less than 2 hours for my very first one. I since have made 5 tops and I am playing with different style sleeves on each one. Some I put a ruffle at the bottom and some I did not. I have already made a dear friend’s 5 year old a Christmas top from this pattern. This pattern is easy to follow and well written with plenty of pictures to explain the steps. Thanks.

This pattern is awesome!! The directions are VERY easy to follow. The pattern was soooo easy to cut. I even used my rotary cutter. I love that she included the variations for this top. You will be very surprised at how fast this top goes together. I also bought her ruffle gaucho pattern and I plan on purchasing her corset pattern next. Keep those awesome patterns coming!!

I love this pattern and the directions that came with it. The top is easy to make, took me a little over an hour, and looks great. There aren't many pattern pieces to mess with and the directions are SO complete. There was no "guesswork" for me as I sewed this top. I am so glad that I bought this.

I just thought I'd share what I have made with the Dainty Designs e-books for a peasant top and ruffled gauchos. Dainty Designs E-books were my first attempt with a sewing machine I got this summer for my birthday. I have been practicing with $1-a-yard-fabric and they still came out so stunning that this year we decided to make them for my 3 daughters Christmas outfits this year. I still cannot believe I made these! My daughters are so happy with their clothing. It has really been a wonderful event in our family. My daughters can't wait for Christmas morning not only for the presents but to wear their clothing that mommy made them. I have one son and it was easy to match the girls theme and he is even excited for them! These are the photos we took for our 2006 Christmas cards. Thank you so much for creating this site!!

Wow, this book has the best instructions I have read for making ruffles. I will use her method from now on. I was hesitant to try the shirring, but it turned out to be so easy that I shirred almost every part of the top. The author is very helpful and answered my question about where to find elastic thread the same day. While I bought it for the pattern, the extra sewing techniques and customer service made this well worth the purchase.
