Fun to make! Make them as a gift for yourself or someone else!

I guide you through the entire process from beginning to end. I explain how to do it with hand applique and machine applique. I also give you tips and ideas for variations using different materials. I also give you lots of tips and illustrations.

I've made my patterns very easy to read and understand. I give you a complete list of everything you will need to complete the project. I've broken everything down into step by step instructions and have included full color illustrations. The pattern pieces are very crisp and neatly drawn using a computer program.

Personal & commercial use.

Supplies:
Small scraps of fabric for appliques
Scraps of light weight paper backed fusible webbing (I like Heat N Bond Lite)
2 fabric pieces large enough to go around the jar, including overlap (one for front, one for lining)
Fusible fleece interfacing, same size as fabrics above, just one piece
2 3/4” x 44” strip of fabric for binding (if using a very large jar, you may need two)
Thread to compliment fabrics
Embellishment supplies of your choice (examples: floss, buttons, beads, ribbon, fabric paint, etc)
Fray-check (optional: to seal the stitches on the back)
(3) 10 or 12 mm snaps for closure, or closure of your choice

Refer to pattern page for additional information, tips, and embellishment & embroidery ideas.

If you will be using glue for attaching embellishments such as wiggle eyes, pom-poms, or bows, be sure to use a good quality fabric glue. I like to use Fabri-tac by Beacon.

General supplies:
Scissors, pins, sewing needles, paper & pencil, flexible tape measure, fabric marking pen or pencil, paper or cardstock (for printing pattern pieces), iron & ironing board, sewing machine, cutting mat with ruler & rotary cutter (optional), pressing cloth or piece of light colored, 100% cotton fabric for fusing your fleece to the top (depending on the brand you use, some fusible fleece instructions call for it).
