“love this so fun and made lots of oven mitts to match!”

This half apron and oven mitt are so pretty and easy to make! Instructions are included to make the apron in two misses’ sizes – 8-14 and 16-22. The apron is made from fabric rectangles with a ribbon waistband and ties. Light and medium weight cotton fabrics were used for the sample apron and oven mitt.

MATERIALS NEEDED TO MAKE APRON:

-44/45” Cotton solid or print fabrics – 1/2 yard for top rectangle, 1/4 yard for bottom rectangle, 1/2 yard for ruffled skirt on apron, 5/8 yard for apron lining (white muslin was used for lining on sample apron)
-1” Ribbon – 2 1/2 yards (grosgrain was used for sample apron)
-Sewing thread – coordinating color

MATERIALS NEEDED TO MAKE OVEN MITT:

-Cotton batting - 24” x 30” rectangle (batting must be cotton – heat will go through polyester batting)
