What a beauty this hat is! Change the color and you have a hat for any fashion need. Make a basic hat….and with a change of ribbon or sash you have a totally different look!
The crossed popcorns create so much texture, and they make the perfect beading row for the sash or ribbon. This pattern has a tutorial on how to do the crossed popcorns, with great pictures and instructions, making it easy enough for a beginner.
This pattern also includes clear instructions on how to make the fabric sash
I used Caron Simply soft, but any 4-ply yarn will do. This pattern is written in American Standard terms, and sized for preemie up to 7yrs.
