Supplies needed to make 1 stocking
(if making both, just double the fabrics, fusible fleece & fusible webbing):
3/8 yard of fabric for outside of stocking
5/8 yard of fabric for lining, cuff, and hanger
3/8 yard of fusible fleece (Pellon brand was used in this project)
1/8 yard of Heat N Bond Lite (fusible webbing)
Small scraps of fabric for gingerbread people & hearts
2 buttons for boy, approximately 1/2”
3 buttons for girl, approximately 1/2”
12” length of 1/4” wide ribbon
3 Dimensional paint, black & white
***If you prefer not to use paint for decorating the gingerbread people, you can use narrow
rick rack, buttons, beads, embroidery floss, anything else you’d like.
Embroidery floss to match or contrast with your applique fabrics
Sewing thread to match fabrics
Craft glue

General supplies:
5” to 7” embroidery hoop(s), scissors, pins, embroidery needle, paper & pencil, cardstock (for
printing applique pattern pieces, optional), iron & ironing board, sewing machine, pressing cloth (I use
a 100% cotton fabric), cutting mat with ruler & rotary cutter (optional)
