My recipients love their ties, so that's a good review in my book!

Great directions!!

I love that i can make this pattern for my husband and sons, but I had to add almost 6 inches to make it long enough for my hubby. It's probably best to measure the man you're making it for before you cut out the fabric just to be safe

This is great instructions on making the tie. I did have to add some length to it to fit my husbands neck and he's an average size guy.

I absolutely love the boys tie pattern. LOVE. Not as big a fan of the dad's tie. Finished it was 7" shorter than any of my husband's other ties. (He normally gets regular ties, so nothing special.) So all that work, and it didn't even fit. (It's actually an inch longer than the 8-10 year old tie I made my son. Very disappointing. And when you're cutting on the bias...that's a LOT of fabric being wasted.) It didn't even have a clear spot to lengthen the tie. So I had to kinda guess. (If I wanted to do that I wouldn't have bought a pattern.) Be aware: According to wikipedia, the average man's tie is 57" inches. This one is NOT. But like I said, the boys tie pattern is GREAT!

This pattern was easy to follow. I made matching ties for my husband and sons. I did have to make some adjustments though- as it says- "one size fits most". I had to add almost 18 inches of length to make it long enough for my husband- he has a 20" neck.

Another great pattern from Patchwork Kids- now I can make matching ties for my husband and sons! It was a hit at Christmas. So easy to make- great instructions

I have always been wary of making a tie. It is cut on the bias and I just knew that I would somehow end up with a tie that was all out of shape. The step by step instructions were great and the tie I made is fabulous. Now I have to buy the tie for boys. What could be better than Daddy and me ties?
