My quilting guild make these winderful doll skirts and donated them with dolls to our local Toys for tots drop center in 2009. It was a great project - we really enjoyed it and we loved how the skirt and tops turned out. very rewarding and easy to do.

I am so glad I found this!! I teach sewing to youth ages 10-18 at our local Boys & Girls Club and will use this as our kick-off charity sew-in! The kids do two service projects a year, and this is perfect!! Thanks for the patterns!!

As a little girl who was not going to have a Christmas with present's, I remember what loving peron(s) who lovingly gave their time to sew a doll dress and nighty for a doll I had never seen. I now had a Christmas to remember. I would love to give back. With money tight, one can always find a 'piece of fabric' to sew something for a little someone to make their Christmas. This I intend to do this Christmas. Thanks for the information. Now I MUST get sewing! Thanks for the 'nudge and a place to start. Sewing grandma who never forgot!

Such an easy pattern. I was able to put a CUTE skirt together in no time at all. I've already made one for a gift and am in the process of picking squares to make several more for donation. What a great project!

I have always enjoyed sewing doll clothes. Now that my girls have outgrown Barbie, I can still sew for my enjoyement and save to donate at Christmas for someone else to enjoy. Wonderful idea!

I just made a doll skirt today using this pattern and it was so easy! I am really a novice sewer and I was able to follow the directions and the skirt came out just like the photo! It even fit my daughter's 18" doll exactly like it should! I will start collecting 5" squares all spring and summer so I can make more skirts for the holiday season to donate! Thanks for a great pattern!
