The flowers, leaf and headband are so sweet and easy to make! Instructions are included to make flowers in three different styles plus a 1 1/2” wide fabric headband – this is the same as the narrow headband in our “Headband & Flower” pattern. The flowers on the headband have a 2 3/4” diameter. The eight petal flowers have a 4” diameter and are attached to purchased headbands. The large five petal flower has a 5 1/2” diameter and is attached to a purchased headband. The small five petal flower has a 3 3/4” diameter and is attached to a hair clip. The fabric headband will fit girls of all ages and most women. The headband can be worn with or without the flowers – it’s reversible if the flowers are not attached. The finished flowers can be attached to headbands, hair clips, hair scrunchies, purses, clothing, etc. The flower patterns can be reduced or enlarged to make them different sizes.
Sample headbands and flowers are made from cotton fabrics for every day. Use silk, satin, taffeta, etc. to make them for special occasions. Acrylic or wool felt can be used to back flowers. Felt is fused to the wrong side of the fabric. Then the shapes are cut out and stitched around the edges.
*Note: These are downloadable instructions and pattern for making a flower and headband. Since it is a download, a window will open to download and when you are signed into your user account at the time of purchase, it will also be located in the "My Library" section of your user account immediately after purchase.
