Jazz up that ensemble with a Festive Vest! Trendy, yet traditional, this vest is a stylish piece for boys and girls alike. For formal attire, the vest can be made from dressy fabrics and worn with a button-up shirt and tie. For a more casual look, use fun cotton prints and pair with a T-shirt. Optional classy collars and dapper mock pockets can be placed on the front, and ties, belts, or ribbons can be added to the back. The vest is perfect for personalization with applique or machine embroidery.

This vest is extremely easy to make, and is a great project for beginners. Each step of the construction process is described in detail and fully illustrated. Fastener options include buttons/buttonholes or snaps. Placement guides are provided for both 3 and 4 button variations.

As in my other volumes, this eBook is loaded with tips, tricks, and of course, matching patterns for dollies.

I have made this pattern 4 times, in 3 different sizes. It has been a hot every time! This is the most easy, simple way to make a lovely lined vest without the extra hemming. I have even made just the front of this vest, and attached it to a onesie for church! so cute :)

I love this pattern and as with most of Carla's patterns it's almost like having a private sewing lesson. I have used this for my grandson for Christmas and to make my nephew a vest to wear in Williamsburg for his colonial costume.

A super easy pattern, I whipped this up for my son in less than an hour and it made a great little addition to his mad hatter get-up. (It was an impromptu outfit for my daughters mad hatter tea party) Super cute and easy, can't wait to make a more stylish version than the mad hatter :)

I love this pattern, I made Christmas vests for all my kids, and they turned out great. Plan on making more for everyday wear because the kids love them. Great pattern, easy to understand. I really like having the button hole guide, you knew exactly where to put the button holes and buttons.
