Spring Finger Puppets
Description
These adorable felt finger puppets are simple to make! They are stitched entirely by hand, using a whip stitch around the felt edges and a straight stitch for the bunny’s mouth. Instructions are included to make a chick, bunny, ladybug, bumble bee and frog, along with a fabric carrying case (sample case is stitched by machine but it can be completed by hand). The finished puppets are 2” x 2 3/4” (this measurement does not include the frog eyes, bunny ears or ribbons. The puppets are made from scraps of felt, buttons and ribbons (a combination of acrylic and wool felt was used for samples). Felt circles or pompoms can be used in place of buttons. Finger puppets are not recommended for children under the age of three.

Materials
MATERIALS NEEDED TO MAKE FELT PUPPETS
Acrylic or wool felt scraps
Ribbon scraps - 1/4" and 3/8" wide for arms/wings, antennae and chick head feathers
Medium rick rack scrap for bumble bee
Buttons – two 1/2” pink for cheeks, two 5/8" black for ladybug, one 1/2" & 5/8" yellow for frog
Sewing thread/embroidery floss

They turned out so cute! Gave them to my friends in their Easter cards and I didn't have enough for the grandkids! Pattern very easy to follow. And the were fun to make!

These finger puppets are so cute & the pattern was easy to follow. I have made 3 sets for 3 of my great grand childrens birthdays. I had all the felt & buttons & fabric for the case. So it made a very inexpensive gift. I had 3 complete sets made in 2 days. Peg
