Meghan Peasant Dress/Top for Women: Misses 0-18, 1x-3x Womens
Description
The Meghan peasant imparts a stunning silhouette to women of all shapes and sizes. It is relaxed and so easy to wash and wear, but can be made as dressy as you choose with lots of sleeve and length options. The flattering empire bodice can be made with a plunging neckline that shows a bit of décolleté, or it can be made to be a bit more modest, depending on your comfort level. The vibrant damasks, florals, and stripes from the Sis Boom Collection are perfectly suited for this style. Use a single fabric for a classic, continuous look, or mix and max for bohemian patchwork fun.
Materials:
-Notions - thread, straight pins, 1/4" elastic, 1/2" single fold bias tape (for bell sleeved option)
-Fabric - 2.5-4 yards, depending on size, style, and options.

I LOVE the directions, and how easy it went together! I was able to make a top in under a day, and that's with three kids underfoot! I have 34E chest, and I made a size small with the 2nd cutting line and found it fit great! I made a top. I love how comfortable this is!

I have made both tops and dresses with this pattern. It is so easy to put together and the finished products look very flattering. In fact, I only wear Meghan tops on the weekends instead of T-shirts because they are so comfortable and stylish!

Love this pattern! I have made two dresses so far, one from 100% cotton as suggested and one from cotton interlock as a night gown (I added an extra layer of fabric in the front bodice for extra support and coverage as my material was white). The suggested pattern measurements/ sizes are spot on (maybe a little on the large side) and the directions are very easy to follow. I omitted the elastic from the bell sleeve and this gives a very flattering result. I can't wait to make more! dresses using different colour combinations. I recommend this pattern for anyone starting out in sewing as it is easy to follow and will give guaranteed results.

I made this dress last weekend. It turned out perfect. So comfortable as well. I can't wait to make more. The directions are excellent. I have been sewing since I was about 5 and have noticed that the pattern industry has made it difficult for new sewers to learn on their own. Not with this pattern. I think it applies to beginners as well as the advanced. There are templates and measurements for everything included. There is no guess work at all. I LOVE they way Jennifer puts a pattern together and will go look at more she has done.

This is a great pattern. I made the bell sleeve version, knee length. I didn't actually add the elastic for the bell sleeve and I like the way the sleeve flows. I used one fabric for the entire dress. It came together quickly and easily - I cut it out and had it complete in just a few hours.

I purchased this pattern last night, printed it out, and made it up this morning, I love the top, I made an 1X and will make it one size larger next time, but very clear instructions, and it comes out beautifully, will be selecting fabrics to make a tri coloured one next I think. I made this dress in about an hour yesterday. Cutting the fabric took about 15 minutes. The instructions are so detailed and easy! I used a size L and took the sides in a little more. I cannot wait to shop for more fabric to make more of these dresses. They'll be great for summer, but even now I can wear tights and a light coat over it for church or out to dinner. Love it!
