I also love patterns that allow me to use a variety of prints, especially those remnants from past projects that are too big to throw away but not quite large enough for a complete garment. A few basic changes in the construction of the garment will achieve a variety of looks. In this pattern, I’ve included 3 necklines, 2 aprons and 4 sleeve variations as well as the option for a bottom ruffle or contrast band to allow for dozens of variations.
I’ve been sewing for 30+ years and have enjoyed trying many new techniques along the way. I wrote this eBook for most levels of sewers, from confident beginner to advanced.

I haven't made this dress yet because I had a hard time finding the perfect fabric, but I've read through it several times and the directions are very clear. I especially love the directions list that you Can use without pics, that helped me understand the full instructions better. The pattern is well written and very very cute! Love the versatility!

Loved the pattern, easy!! The only problem I had was my back wouldn't shear properly. I think my material was too heavy. I ended up ripping it out and using elastic instead.

Another great Funktional Threads pattern! I combined the bodice with the skirt from the Grace Dress to make my DD's Christmas dress. Both worked well together to give me just the look I wanted. The directions were very clear and easy to understand, and the illustrations make it easy for even a novice to complete this dress.

I love this dress, it is so cute and the many variations mean that I can make it over and over and have a different looking dress each time. The pattern is easy to read and understand which makes it fun to sew!

So cute and so many options. Long sleeve, short sleeve, no sleeve or flutters. Different bodice options and even different skirt choices (skirt is interchangeable with other Funktional Thread patterns). Instructions are easy to follow with good illustrations and pictures. Fits amazing on my daughter due to the elastic casings in the bodice back. Love it.
