These amazing ruffle bum capri pants are absolutely to die for! The moment Rosy got them she didn't want to take them off. These will make your little girly feel so very special and pretty even while she's wearing pants! This pattern includes a broad size range of 2-8! Matching sister sets would be too much fun!
This pattern is a trendy and fun low waisted wide leg style with so much comfort ad an elastic band in back. This particular pattern is recommended for experienced sewers as it involves quite a few more steps than my basics. I guide you through each and every step with great detail and lots of pictures. Main Fabric – 45 inches wide:
- ½ yard of your main fabric for sizes 2 & 4
- ¾ yard of main fabric for size 6
- 1 yard of main fabric for size 8
Ruffle Fabric – 45 inches wide:
- 1 yard total (can use ½ yard of two prints) for sizes 2 & 4
- 1 ½ yards total (can use ¾ yard of two prints) for sizes 6 & 8
- ½ yard 1 inch wide elastic

I'm working on the third pair for my granddaughter. She feels very special in these. This is one of the first patterns I fell in love with on this site. These pants fit well, are adaptable for special needs, and put fun into their wardrobe. These pants are ridiculously cute. I think that maybe they are better suited for younger girls, but really cute for a very outgoing girl. The pattern was a little tricky, but came together quickly.

love the look, easy pattern, found that the rise (crotch) was a bit short for my girls. They did not wear these pants often because they were uncomfortable.

I absolutely love these ruffled pants. I made my daughter her first pair last weekend using the tutti fruiti line fabric. She wore them to pre-k this morning and everyone was stopping us wanting to know where i got her pants. She was sporting a watermelon ruffled bum lol - too cute. Pattern was very easy to follow.
