Really nice pattern and an easy one to use to 'make it your own!' Used double sided quilted fabric so mine are reversible and the quilting makes them perfect for absorbing any messy's. They're great for helping Mommy's and Grandma's cook and bake. Also good as a painting smocks or even as bibs!

Planning on making this apron for all four of my grand-daughters ages 2, 4, 6, and 11. They all love crafts, and I have a craft apron that I made for my daughter 29 years ago that they use here at mamies's house, but it ties on both sides which makes it difficult for them to do. I think this pattern will be great since they all "want to do it myself."

Great pattern! Only this is the medium says 5-8, but i think it runs smaller than that. Very easy for kids to put on and take off themselves. I made two of them and made them double layer with PUL so my girls can do the dishes in them and keep their clothes dry.

Love this pattern! I made one with the ruffle for my grand daughter and one without a ruffle for my grandson. Making bias tape was new for me and I was surprised at how easy it was to do with the instructions included with the pattern. I would recommend this pattern for any skill level. It's quick and easy!

This is great. I just made 10 of them for my grand children, I lined each of them so they are all reversible. What a fun and wonderful pattern. Thank you.

So far so good. Sitting with the bias tape and apron in my lap waiting to put it on right now. My only suggestion would be to do a french seam on the shoulders so you don't have exposed raw edges. Would give a much more finished look. You might have to add a bit for seam allowance, but not much. I'm going to do it with the next one I make for sure. Yep, have several planned already.

Pretty easy to put together, I made mine reversible so I had to tweak the pattern a little bit. But reviews that say this runs small, I disagree with it. I would say that it runs pretty true to size. Worried that the medium would be too small for my child's 3rd grade class classmates, I opted to make a size large and it's too big. I would say that the sizing is right on. Medium would be good for 7-9 years old for sure.

I thought this pattern was very easy to follow. I do think the sizing runs a little on the small side. I ended up making a plain apron and then one that was reversible. Making the binding was incredibly time consuming. I thought the reversible one was much faster to make and it added an extra thickness to the craft apron.

I love this pattern! I made some for my daughters special needs class and her teachers loved them! They mentioned they wish the apron came in their sizes and guess what?! Now it does!! I can't wait to sew some big ones! The little aprons are so easy and quick to put together!

I have made these for both boys and girls and I also made a matching chef hat with most of them. One of the little girls kindergarten teacher fell in love with it when she brought it to school for her paint smock. They are so easy to make and would be wonderful for charity projects for a low income pre-school or kindergarten class.

Adorable little apron. I made this when my 18 month old broke her arm so she could have some way to carry things around. I love that there are no ties and nothing hanging around the neck. Check the sizes though, you may need to make adjustments. I made size 2-4 and it won't fit my daughter for much longer. Highly recommend!

This is such a great pattern! Very easy to put together and it fits my kids so well. I decided to make mine reversible but using two fabric, which saved from having to use bias tape on everything but the neck. My kids are pretty small, so I didn't add seam allowances to the pattern, but you might need to depending on the child's size. Just add it to everything except the notched area that connects the front to the back (it already has a seam allowance) and the neck (because you still bind that). I also top stitched around the outside and it looks so fantastic!

What a great pattern! I made this for a birthday gift, and it turned out great. I printed the pattern around 9:00am and finished it, wrapped it, and was ready to go around 11:00. And that was WITH a ruffle. It slips over the head wonderfully and just looks great on. My little girl wasn't too excited to give it away, I had to promise to make her one ASAP. Thanks for a pattern that is versatile; I'll use it again and again!

Loved the pattern. Made two aprons in an afternoon. The girls needed an apron to use for an art smock and this was perfect! Very easy to use and I liked all the options. Although I didn't make an ruffles on the art shirts - I think there is an apron with pockets and ruffles in our future!

This is a great, super easy, super fast pattern. It's a fabulous, cute apron. And the best part is that kids can put it on themselves. My daughter loves it. I'll be making more to give as gifts. I really enjoyed making this pattern up.

This is a great pattern. Fairly easy to put together and easy to adapt. I had to resize it hough as the Medium was too short to be auseful apron on my small 5 year old but the large was way too big. I alos made the small for my 2year old and he will have outgrown it in a month or two. I highly recommend this pattern to all it makes a lovely apron, just check the sizing and lengthen as needed.
