The Brooke Dress sewing pattern contains detailed instructions and step by step directions for the most versatile peasant style dress or shirt ranging in size from 12 months through 10 years. This 36 page pattern is unbelievably thorough; it is FULL of detailed instructions, pattern piece/s, diagrams, and photos to make your job simple.
This is an adaptable pattern with many options for customizing to your preference. Instructions will provide you options for creating long, short, or ¾ sleeves. You can make the peasant sleeves wide, gathered, with elastic or without; the choice is yours. Make a boutique dress or a tunic top.
Use contrasting fabrics or a single fabric for the entire dress. The Brooke Dress is darling in the spring and summer with cute capped sleeves and equally cute in the winter with long sleeves and leggings. The options are endless, hence the 36 page pattern.

I am a veteran seamstress and I found the directions a bit confusing. I design s lot of my own stuff, so when I buy a pattern it's so that I don't have to think about how to make it... That being said, it was not impossible to figure out, and the girls dresses are adorable!

I love this pattern. The instructions are easy to follow. The first one I made was with the 3/4" sleeves, the next will be with short sleeves. Very easy and sews up quickly.

Awesome pattern!! May be my favorite yet! Very easy to follow step by step instructions. You will end up with a precious finished dress or top you are sure to LOVE! I will buy more patterns from this shop - I can't recommend it highly enough.

Pattern was some what complicated and not as thorough as I would have preferred (I have been only sewing clothing for 6 months). I discovered trouble with the sleeves. The pattern and instructions do not specify which direction to fold in half to cut underarm hole. This led to one scrap item... and for the remainder of directions I located a free blog to help in conjunction with this bought pattern. They are lovely once complete.. just a minor blemish in the directions.
