This dress is so easy- you'll make it again and again. We have!! This dress has elastic around the neck for an easily customizable fit.
This pattern is specifically designed for BEGINNERS. It is easy to follow and is suitable for all levels of sewers. You will need to only the most basic sewing skills to complete this tutorial. You don’t have to have extensive knowledge of sewing terms or techniques. Do not be intimidated if you don't have much experience- you can definitely sew this pattern! NO SERGER NEEDED! All you need is a sewing machine and basic knowledge of how to use it, we provide all the rest!

Loved the pattern. It it super easy. It was really fast to make. The dress looks great. However, after you wash it, it's hard to get the wrinkles out around the elastic in the arms. I altered the pattern on the second go and made a folded elastic casing at the end of the sleeves instead of putting elastic in the middle.

A flattering little top/dress that I have made for my daughter and niece. Looks cute on a range on ages and sizes. I've made it out of lightweight corduroy and cotton. The sleeves are perfect for those transitional seasons. Pattern was easy to follow and assemble.

Love this pattern! I made two out of snuggle flannel for my girls for a warm comfy outfit to ware with tights and boots. Can't wait to make more with coordinating fabrics and lighter cottons for summer. Definitely easy enough for a beginner.

I LOVE this pattern. Violette Field Threads is rapidly becoming my favorite pattern designer! I wanted a dress that I could make for my older daughter (age 10 and size 10-12) This pattern was perfect! I used blue and purple paisley corduroy and she wears it with leggings and loves it! It's comfortable and easy to sew. Definitely great for a beginner as the instructions are easy to follow with simple straightforward explanations. Thanks again!
