This skirt is so cute! It was actually the first thing I'd ever made without using a pattern. I discovered that sewing without patterns is actually easier than sewing with one! The pictures made everything so easy to follow and the instructions were clearly and concisely written so I was never confused. I make these all the time for my nieces. I love this skirt!

I love this pattern, the instructions are very clear. Having a serger now makes this go by a lot faster, but can still be done with a zig zag stitch. If you are beginner, I would allow yourself plenty of time to work on this. All in all, great pattern!

I use this pattern as a basis for all of my stripwork skirts. I change embellishments and it works great. I do a rolled hem sometimes instead of using bias tape sometimes but it all comes from this pattern. Love it!!

I had never made anything more than a quick pair of bandana pants and a few odd things here & there. I actually made this skirt in 1 afternoon & it is adorable. It took me a few hours but that was because I was learning to use my ruffler foot at the same time. My daughter loves it & wants me to make her more & some for the neighbor girl too.

I first purchased this pattern to make my daughter a skirt for Valentine's Day. She received so many compliments she's now decided that she can only wear skirts or dresses. I absolutely loved this pattern. I had an idea in my head of what I wanted and this worked out so well. The dress has some major twirl factor, which my daughter just LOVES. I altered it a bit and when I contacted the author, she was so helpful. The outfits I made for our trip to Disneyland and dinner with the princesses received so many compliments. I cannot wait to make a ton more of these, as the pattern was extrememly easy to follow and literally only took about an hour to sew (one hour for cutting). I would highly suggest having a ruffler foot as this makes it soooo much easier.

I am very happy with the books I purchased. The instructions are very easy. I had only sewn a pair of pajama pants in the past and I was able to sew a double layered twirl skirt as my first project and I had no trouble. I found the pattern extremely versatile and easy to use. This skirt has great "twirl power". My niece loves it, and has gotten many compliments on it. Her big sister says she can't wait for her birthday so she can get one,too!

I love this skirt!! Very easy to read and use, and the pictures were fabulous. Came out perfect the first time, and only took about an hour and a half to make. I was able to alter the pattern to make a vertical strip twirl tank easily, making this well worth the money!!
