This download has 16 different fabric jewelry brooch pins, 12 are washable, all have removable metal brooch pin backs, mechanisms on both ends held in place by 2 holes on the finished back panel for a 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" long metal pin back. 4 panels, backed by Therm o web, HeatnBond, Ultrahold ironed to the back, for the brooch's structure.

8 different size brooch pins:
3/4 x 3/4"
1x1"
1x2"
2 x 1 1/2"
2 1/2" x 2"
2x3"
2x2"
3x3"

You can use inkjet fabric with your own designs, beads, ribbon roses, fabric, printable vinyl, chipboard, wood, any type of covering, cover mat board or cardboard, for 4 of the frame brooches.

Leave an opening on the top or side, between the finished front & back panels, for the metal brooch pin back to be removed. Sew or hot glue 3 sides, leaving one for opening.

Print the patterns directly onto Therm o Web, HeatnBond, Ultrahold, an acid free, iron on, paper backed, fabric adhesive, sold by the 5 yard x 17" roll (actually 17 1/8 wide, cut away 1/8 edge free of adhesive) to make 2 widths of 8 1/2" wide x 11" pieces - roll yields 32 8 1/2" x 11" pieces to print with the inkjet printer! The roll is the cheapest to buy at Michaels, at $10/roll, minus 50% off coupon, so for $5, you can get it, and each 8 1/2" x 11" piece is as little as $0.16 per sheet! One roll will do for these patterns in this download.

8 are interchangeable, tabletop picture frames for 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" and 2x3" photos, convertible to fashion jewelry frame brooch pins, in 4 ways:
washable, sewn
washable, no sew
non washable, no sew, fabric covered mat board / cardboard 4 parts
non washable, no sew, fabric covered mat board / cardboard 4 parts, but with 2 holes on easel back & top part of bendable, strut leg board, to thread ribbon through, to make removable strut leg panel to replace with metal pin back - great for fabric covered wood, chipboard, etc.

First 8 patterns have 4 panels with seam allowances, 2 for the finished front panel, 2 holes on 2 panels that make finished back panel, to hold pin back in place- use sharp, pointy, embroidery like fabric or craft scissors to poke and cut out circle holes on patterns. All patterns have lines to cut away excess fabric, circle holes to cut out, guide lines.

Washable, sewn & no sew, frame brooches have 6 panels, 2 for for front, inside easel back, and outward facing easel back, 2 for strut leg panels. On washable, no sew, leave area provided on strut leg panels shown open, but cutting away strip area on pattern, to make 2 part strut leg panel - this area will be for the bendable area.

Non washable, no sew, fabric covered board frames need 3 sheets per frame brooch, 2 are printed on Ultrahold, and one for the board parts gets printed on regular printer paper, cut out, and transfer lines to board.

These are just patterns, the quilter or crafter adds the art, or embellishments.

Iron Ultrahold patterns to back of fabric panels. Cut away excess as corners, cut out holes shown on patterns, fold seam allowances under, iron or hot glue down for nonwashable board frames.

For washable, NO SEW, fabric photo frames, there are 7 holes on the inside frame front border & inside easel back, to thread 1/8" ribbon 2 feet long through, to make photo pocket, for photo and protective sleeve, a cut up sheet protector page cut to size of photo.

For frame brooches, use 3/8" wide by 9" long ribbon to connect strut leg panel's bottom right to easel back, with sew on type Velcro / hook & loop, hot glued on, for removable strut leg. Add soft or loop side of Velcro on easel back, where shown on pattern, and "hook" or hard side to removable strut leg top part.

Velcro / hook and loop placement is on patterns marked by black line boxes.

TIP: print patterns onto printer paper, transfer lines onto clear vinyl or clear sheet protector pages, and take those clear patterns with you to fabric store, if using an element or motif from a repeat pattern, say a sports logo fabric.
