She will never want to stop twirling! The Twirl Dress is a fun, easy-to-make dress that looks like you bought if from a high-end boutique! The bodice is constructed in a way that hides those itchy seams. These instructions were designed for the beginner, but the dress is so much fun that a sewer at any skill level will love the results.
With a simple button and loop closure, you can achieve that tailor-made look. There are variations to the dress, so you can make several without feeling that you are sewing the same dress over and over again! Also included are bonus instructions on how to make a matching headband. This e-book contains step-by-step instructions with pictures to guide you through the entire process. You can be confident that you are creating the dress correctly. These instructions are so versatile that the twirl dress can be made in virtually any size from baby on up. During the cooler months, add a cardigan over or a t-shirt under the dress, and you have the perfect dress all year round! You can create the perfect fitting dress with any length that you desire. The possibilities are almost endless.

Sizing was a bit off
Very cute but lots of gathers.
Super easy instructions and I like the multiple sizes. All the gathers and tiers about did me it, but it turned out really cute.
Really disappointed with the bodice of this dress. I believe the lining and outer should be done separately and then joined together (instead of sewing lining to outer front then lining to outer back then sewing back & front together) so the seam is not visible at the edge of the armhole. Also, the opening at the back is not sufficient to make it easy for getting on and off, but you only find that out once it's sewn together. Disappointed that I now need to purchase another pattern to create a better fitting bodice to go with the twirly skirt of this dress.
I made this dress in two days and did the tiers/ruffles by hand. Daughter loves this dress because it's one she can spin and it flares out when she spins :) Adorable dress and easy to follow pattern. Love the fact that you can do it in any size
This is just right!! Any little girl will go crazy over the twirl and girliness. So easy and so beautiful. Love, love, love it!

Wonderful dress, with the perfect amount of twirl ;)
Instead of gathering the ruffles i made pleats and it turned out great.
What little girl would not fall in love with this great twirly GREAT PATTERN
I have never made a dress before and I bought this pattern a year ago and have always been intimidated by until now! I finally made it and it turned out perfect! It was a little big on my girl on top but she just puts on a shirt under and problem solved! She just loves to twirl in this dress over and over again. In fact, it's hard to get her to take it off to wash! Thanks for a great pattern! Will definitely make again!
Super easy, simple to follow and put Great dress!
My daughter LOVES twirling in this dress!! As another user mentioned, this isn't a patterned ebook. If you don't have your recipient to measure, don't buy this. Otherwise, It's fast, easy, and loved! I actually used a top from another pattern with WIDE straps to tie a bow in back. LOVE IT! Will have to post pictures sometime! :)
I like that this dress has endless sizing ability, because it's based on measuring first. This makes is great for my older girls, that are difficult to find patterns for. It was pretty easy to make and my daughter loves the twirl factor!
I love this dress pattern! It is so easy to alter the length for different looks. I have made about 7 of these dresses throughout this year including a ivory satin flower girl dress for my sisters wedding. No matter the fabric they all look wonderful! Plus my daughter loves it because it's a super twirl dress! Thank yo for making such a wonderful dress pattern!
Super cute and not hard to make! I'd suggest a ruffler or learn to make ruffles with your serger because there is a lot of gathering otherwise.
Love this dress! It ws my first trirley dress I made for my grand daughter.
I have made my daughter 5 of them and she is so very upset that she has out grown them!!! I know what I will be making this summer! ; )
The first time I made this dress, it was difficult for me. But the more I make the easier it got. I cut the fabric under the arm in a half-circle, because the first dress I made for my daughter was uncomfortable for her under the arm. I really do love this pattern, mostly because it can be adjusted to fit any size. My niece is very tall and thin and her sister is shorter and more on the chubby side. I am able to easily make this dress to fit them perfectly.
I made this for my grandbaby for easter last year. She loves it and the twirl factor is there. Thank you.
love this pattern!
Girls love to twirl and definitely will with this.
easy pattern and i absolutely love the dress :D
cute! Easy to follow instructions. Girls love to twirl.
Fun and twirly, we did this one for a flower girl dress and just added a simple sash and it was perfect.
Instructions, with lots of pictures help to make this a fun project to make! Believe me this is the ultimatet of twirl dresses. Ruffles, ruffles, and more ruffles make this the ultimate twirl dress!Just like the dresses on the dresses on Dirty Dancing! My grand daughter absolutely loves this dress, and I will be making more for my other 3 granddaughters. All the ruffles do take time, but the outcome is well worth it!
dress sews up very nice. make sure you have a calculator handy and that you know how to do ruffles but dress works up very nicely.
Lots and lots of ruffles. Takes a little time, but well worth it.
Easy to follow and PERFECT every time!
I loved the end result of this dress. I did use a different bodice as I had not child to measure at the time. Super cute and twirly.
This dress turned out darling! The instructions were clear, and I enjoyed learning a bit about pattern-making by doing the math for it. My daughter wears her dress every time it comes out of the wash, and spends most of those days twirling!
This dress sews up beautiful and is the perfect twirly dress for any age girl! The pattern instructions are easy to follow and I think a great pattern for beginners. I also found this dress so versatile so you can really customize it each time you create it. I will make one note that this pattern doesn't contain pattern pieces. You use the child's measurements to make the dress.
This dress is very easy to make and so pretty. This was my first attempt at making dresses for my girls and it was so painless. The girls love to twirl in it for hours. It took me a day to make the 3 dresses. The ruffles are really what makes this dress. The only thing I have change the second time making this dress is to add a layer of underlining in the bodice to give it a crisper look and a little less sagging.
loved this! It was a little difficult figuring out the pattern for my two girls but I did and not only were they easy to assemble, they have been the favorite dresses for a year now.
Definitely will want to use a ruffler foot for this dress. It is very pretty and twirly. I agree with other commenters that the bodice is a bit bare.
Absolutely beautiful dress! The pattern is great, and end result is amazing. Everyone loves it!
I don't love the "straight across" bodice. I like a litttle more coverage on the top. The skirt is great, though. I've paired it with another bodice for a nice result.
I love this pattern I made 2 dresses so far and have another 3 to go 2 are for easter and 1 is for a friends daughter that saw the dresses and really wanted 1. I love making them so easy and beautiful and the girls can't wait to wate them.
Aside from some problems with the math and sizing of the dress the pattern is great. So easy to follow that I've made three (though not entirely by design)
Once you figure out the math, this is an easy pattern to replicate. My girls loved to twirl, and twirl and twirl. Once the top got too small/ tight, I just cut off the bodice and turned it into a skirt! The ruffler foot is a must for this dress! It saves HOURS of time!
LOVE this dress! Super twirly!!
I love that I ca make this for so many different sizes, but a ruffler is definitely a must!
Ths is a beautiful pattern, and my daughter loved the dress I made for her from it. I will make more of these once I get a gathering attachment for my machine - so many layers takes a lot of time to gather! The effects are worth it, though!
Very disappointing there are no pattern pieces! If you don't have a little one to measure, you're out of luck! Would not recommend this pattern!
Love this pattern! So easy, great discriptive instructions! Adorable, can't wait to make again in a different color scheme!
VERY pretty pattern...my girls love to twirl in this dress!
This pattern is so easy to follow, the dress makes up beautiful. I will be making many more as my grandaughter loved the dress.
My girls love, love, love this dress! They would wear them everyday, if I would let them. The instructions are well written and easy to follow. I did alter the tops of my dresses, though, to make them a little higher and added a cap sleeve.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this pattern. I used this for our annual trip north to visit my husband's family. Very easy to put together.
Ilike this to make it for my child
This pattern is sooooo pretty! Very easy to do and the look is just beautiful! I made 2 different styles. One exactly as instructed, and then another one that I shirred the back top portion and wow, how versitile this pattern is! By the way this was my first piece of clothing ever for me to try and I was so impressed at how easily written out the instructions were and how possible it was to make a little masterpiece! Thanks, LiLi Belle Creations!!! I will be coming back to this pattern time and time again!
This dress made up VERY pretty. I added a ruffle on the top portion because I noticed that the dress was a bit low for a child. I also used a think ribbon for the back instead of the loop and button. The diffucult part was the ruffle at the bottom. I have not sewed ruffles in years. It was time consuming and at times I had to just put the project down. I will use a ruffler the next time I attempt the dress. I will be posting a picture when I visit my grandaughter.
