Eli is a very special great nephew. He has 9 woodland friends to keep him company on his very own quilt. There is fawn, red bird, chipmunk, squirrel, fox, and little white bunny. The quilt is large enough he won’t outgrow it for a long time. It was made to be loved and hugged, with lots of ruf-fled texture. The pattern uses raw edge applique which frays when washed. This results in a rustic, folk look to the quilt.
The quilt is designed to be quilted as the appliques are sewn to the quilt. The quilting is done each row at a time to be easy to do on a table top machine. Eli won’t share his quilt, but you can make one of your own easily with this pattern.
This pattern includes complete easy to follow numbered step by step directions with 10 photos. There are full size printable patterns for each of the 6 woodland animals. The pattern is written with metric units in parenthesis.
