“Easy to follow directions. Bag is super for gift giving and granddaughters! Thanks!”
This pattern is easy to make with four sizes of bag (large is about 9 1/2 x 11-12 inches in size). It is easy to follow for any beginner--age doesn't matter! You'll receive three pages of numbered, step-by-step instructions in a medium size, plain font, and diagrams or photos for most of the steps. Includes a paper pattern piece to pin onto fabric to cut around. Once you understand it, you can make up your own sizes as you desire.
The objective of this pattern is to complete a usable project while learning and practicing these skills: Know about fabric grain, pinning pattern to fabric, cutting, sewing straight on seam allowance, sewing straight on a line, sewing a pivot, inserting cord in a casing.
This bag is nice to make with holiday or novelty fabrics for gift-wrap or party favors. Could be used to pack shoes inside suitcase for travel.
