Everyone loves a stylish and functional zippered pouch for keeping items organized and close at hand. Learn how to attach exposed zippers, trimmed in lace, ric rac or ribbon trim. They add a fun design element, resembling those gorgeous Japanese lace zippers.

Fabric requirements: This project makes great use of scraps, or you can use:
fat quarters of 2 to 3 prints, for exterior and lining
1/3 yard Pellon fusible fleece 987F
2 zippers at least 12" long
1 1/2 yds lace, ric rac or ribbon trim
