Dee Dee Pleated Dress is an easy pattern that has pleats on the front and back and ties on the sides. The ties can be adjusted to make the perfect fit. The tie is sewn on to hold the pleats in place and is a great place for some decorative stitching or a small embroidery design. Add an extra button to the straps to adjust for growth. Included are instructions and patterns for sizes 1 through 6 along with lots of pictures to illustrate every step. Also included is metric version of all measurements.

40 pages and 70 pictures.

These are so cute! I made several out of a cherry print and they turned out so cute! They looked so vintage.

This is the first time I have ever worked with pleats, the instructions were so clear and so easy! I made the dress in about an hour. Great!

Initially I thought this might be a bit time consuming with pleats and all, however I was pleasantly surprised how quickly it all came together. The directions for the pleats are excellent. I ran this up very quickly (well as quickly as you can with three little munchkins around!). Thanks Nanette for a great pattern I must get a photo off to you soon, I will definitely be making more of these for my little girl and I think a heap more for the holidays as gifts for her cousins.

This pattern really is easy to make and uses little fabric; which are my favorite two features of any good pattern. =)
