“I love this sweet little skirt! The length is perfect with it ending just barely above the knee. My 1st grader is passing up dresses these days in exchange for skirts- this sweet pattern works up so quickly (well okay, the box pleats take a little extra time than running gathering stitches- but it's worth it!) She loves this skirt pattern! I've got 2 done with more to come. I just love it. I also love the little extra ruffle created at the top of the waist for some added girly-ness. Dawn- such a fun pattern that goes so well with so much!”

This fun and flirty little skirt is the perfect addition to add to your little girls wardrobe and perfect to pair up with my “Kate’s Blouse” or any other adorable little top. It features a double layer skirt as well as an elastic waistband for easy on and off’s. This pattern is different from other twirl skirts in that it features my hand pleating technique for attaching the skirts to the waistband.

I love this skirt. The pattern was easy to use and it came together beautifully. My girls love the twirl without the excess bulk at the waist. I love the look of the pintucking. I have made 4 of these in the past 2 weeks. I think this will become a staple in my sewing library for a while.
