This sewing guide has been designed to show you how to create a contrast tied cushion cover using two of your favorite fabrics.
You can mix patterned and plain, floral and dotty or striped and spotted fabrics, each time the result will be original and unique to you. A great way to add a splash of color to any room.
The guide for this project has step-by-step instructions in straight forward language, illustrated with close up photographs at every step.
The pattern shows you how to cut out your fabric using simple square and rectangular shapes, no difficult measuring.
Note: These are downloadable instructions and cutting instructions for making pillow. Great pattern. Very easy to follow. I made pillow covers for almost every room in my house! I love that you can take the cover off and toss it in the wash! I do recommend this pattern.
Brilliant pattern. Highly detailed, loads of can't go wrong! One of my favourite patterns :)
This design uses two co-ordinating fabrics, one for the main cover and a contrasting one for the flap and ties.
Measurements are included for both a 16 & 18" cushion pad.
You will need some basic sewing equipment to complete your cushion cover including pins, scissors, tape measure and an iron.
Each cushion requires less than one and a half metres of fabric and matching thread to complete.
