Great pattern and very easy although I would measure for the elastics if you have a slender child. I had to re-cut the elastics for my skinny minnie. Very great instructions though!!
Murray, Carrie - April 27th, 2012
Great pattern and VERY detailed.
Corneille, Allison - April 25th, 2012

I love this pattern. I am using it to make the different princess dresses for my daughter to use for dress up time. The pattern is so versatile. I have made snow white, Cinderella, sleeping beauty, love this
Bleazard, Alayna - March 30th, 2012

Another great pattern from Carla! Love it! Easy to read directions, simple pattern, and looked great! I love all of Carla's patterns,

This is my go to pattern for dresses for my daughter! They always turn out darling and the pattern can be easily changed for variety! Love it!
Laney, Melissa - March 16th, 2012
Easy to do and my daughters love it. I do leave out the center elastic, as it bugs my little ones, but the pattern is so versatile that it still works great!
Kris - March 13th, 2012
I made two of these great dresses the first week I downloaded it because it was so much fun to make and can be easily be made in a day. It's so cute. There are a lot of peasant dress patterns out there, but this is the cutest one I've seen. I like the many variations of the pattern. Thanks for another great pattern!
ELLISON, WENDY - March 3rd, 2012
I have returned to this pattern over and over. It fits beautifully. I have used it for dresses, tops, nightgowns, costumes, and much more.
Weston, Nora - February 28th, 2012
My youngest daughter just love this dress. I have used this pattern to make her a few dresses, some tops and even converted the pattern a bit to omit the center elastic to make her a few nightgowns....Very versitile. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!
Mock, Melanie - February 23rd, 2012
Fantastic pattern for little girls, easy to put on and comfortable to wear. Such a breeze to make, and easy to size.
Lookabill, Amy - February 13th, 2012
I have made 3 of this dress so far and I love it. It is a little more time consuming and may not be for a beginner, but the instructions are really clear and the pattern pieces are very helpful. My only problem is getting my ironing straight and will have to work on that. Otherwise, I love this pattern!
Stockton, Rebekah - February 13th, 2012
I love the curve of the neckline. This is highly recommended.
Crumpton, Rosa - February 8th, 2012
This pattern is a staple. Carla C and SisBoom never disappoint. Dress is very flattering and many variations can be made.
Normandin, Melissa - February 5th, 2012
great for mother/daughter dresses!
McDaniel, Christina - January 31st, 2012
This pattern is easy to follow and comes out beautifully! It does take a bit longer than other peasant patterns to finish up though.
Kristy'sCraftyCloset - January 18th, 2012
Wonderful peasant top/dress pattern. Loved making it and easy to follow instructions.
Thompson, Janice - January 16th, 2012
Beautiful dress that comes together so nicely! My girls love their dress and the lovely comments they get wearing them!
Phillips, Tara - January 11th, 2012
Love this dress. It's a lot of printing to get it all, but that just means more in depth instructions!!! Super cute tops and dresses in a range of styles all from one pattern!!!
Mears, Jayma - January 7th, 2012
This is one of my go-to patterns that I find myself pulling off the shelf again and again!
McQuillen, Beth - January 4th, 2012
Love this pattern! So easy to follow, definitely could be done by a beginner. I love the wide range of sizes and the measurement charts. Makes it easy to size if your making a dress for someone who you don't have access to measure them. The dress turns out beautiful and professional looking, and I'm no professional!
Carter, Crystal - January 4th, 2012
Lots of instructions in this pattern and lots of pictures, but this pattern has an odd shaped bodice piece that was difficult to work with. The only dress I made with this pattern was not well received.
Jennifer Wing - August 1st, 2011
I kept trying to find free instructions for making a peasant dress, but after many tries sewing one, I finally gave up and bought this pattern. It's sooo easy and my daughters are extremely pleased with the results - in fact, they keep asking for more! I wasted so much time and effort on the "freebie patterns" - I wish I had bought SisBoom's first! I love that there are many sizes so that I can keep making these as they grow. Thanks so much SisBoom!!!
Catherine Laborde Lagrave - August 1st, 2011
I've made 2 of these. I am a false beginner sewer, as I now have a few notions, but still need to have very clear instructions to follow. I added a bit of accent to my dresses(the flowered on has a row of yellow ribbon sewn around the bodice, and on the yellow, I added a bit of the flowered dresses fabric at the elastic line, so they remind each of the other. My son has the "boys romper" in the same yellow as my second dress. I am so happy with all the patterns. Descriptions are clear and I love having the pictures to guide me. Anyone can do this. ONly off remark: I've had to really practice my zigzag stitching, as this patern does not do hems much, which does, I imagine save fabric, but if you are not clear on how to use the zigzig function on your machine, you should practice a lot before trying to put this dress together.
Vistra Knox - August 1st, 2011
This pattern makes up so cute. It was very detailed to keep you on track and versatile. Thanks for this great tutorial.
Lauren Blackwell - August 1st, 2011
AWESOME Pattern!!! Easy to follow pattern-turns out perfect the first time!!! So many possibilities!
Anna Hamblen - August 1st, 2011
This is pretty much my favorite pattern of all time. I've made my daughter multiple dresses, including her Halloween costume last year, which was Sally from 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'. This year after being frustrated with the pattern instructions at the store, I've decided I am going to try to use this pattern again to create a Rapunzel dress. Thank you so much!
Mia Robbert - August 1st, 2011
Simply wonderful! Your patterns are a blessing to the beginner seamstress like myself. Never in a million years did I think I'd be able to make something like this. HIGHLY recommended.
Tina Brown - August 1st, 2011
Love this dress. My daughter looks like a princess in it. I may leave out the center elastic next time as she said it itched. I may just buy softer fabric. Easy. easy easy.
