Moms who cloth diaper can attest to the problems of finding clothes that will fit over those fluffy bums! We buy pants that are a bigger, only to have them be way too long! Cloth Tots patterns are designed with roomier bums and hips.
Introducing the Cloth Tots CD Pants Pattern. These pants are designed with a roomy bum area to fit over those fluffy cloth diapers! The pants are designed without the need for an extra panel in the rear. They are a quick and simple project!
This pattern has so many advantages! One big feature is that it can be made using just about any kind of fabric: wovens, knits, fleece, and even denim!
The pattern ranges in size from Newborn up to 4T and is easily embellished for a fancier look.
This design is perfect for both girls and boys! Full bum coverage and roomy legs allow for both comfort and movement.
Choose designer fabrics to coordinate with a complete outfit with matching accessories! Dress your pants up or down and make a whole closet full of pants with one pattern!
This pattern contains instructions to make sizes from Newborn-4T. Sizing is consistent with standard RTW clothing, except there will be more room afforded in the bum area for cloth diapers. There is no need to size up on these, however the legs are a bit long so you may have to hem them up a bit more for babies with shorter legs.
Supplies needed to make your pants:
1/2-1 yd fabric (wovens and knits will both work with this pattern)
3/4-1" wide elastic for the waist band.
