Sew an entire zoo of animal hats for everyone from newborn to 8 years old! These instructions and printable patterns show you how to create a basic fleece hat with 5 fun variations: bear, cat, cow, devil and bunny. No serger or seam finishing is needed. True Newborn size is perfect for baby gifts and newborn portraits.
Sizes that can be made: newborn through youth 8
Final Measurements (Circumference)
0-3 months: 15"
3-12 months: 17"
1-3 years: 18.5"
2-6 years: 20"
4-8 years: 21"

Materials
• 1/4 yard main color polyester fleece (58"-60" wide); cowhide-print fleece if making cow hat. This amount will make up to 3 hats.
• Scraps of fleece for ears and horns
• Polyester thread (recommended)

These are the cutest things ever! Every time my granddaughter wears one, everyone comments how cute it is. SO easy (and fast) to make. The directions are so easy to understand. Even if you are a beginner sewer, you will be successful with this pattern.
