Fabric Christmas Stockings - Elf and Traditional - two sizes

Keep Santa busy this Christmas filling a whole pile of handmade Christmas stockings! This eBook includes instructions and patterns for creating a fully-lined fabric stocking with hanging strap in both traditional and whimsical curled-toe 'elf' styles.

Two sizes! One is fat-quarter friendly to help you bust that holiday stash! A larger pattern is included for extra-generous stocking stuffing.

Finished sizes:
• Fat quarter stockings: Elf, 14.5” tall x 10.5” wide; Traditional, 16” x 10.5”.
• Larger stockings: Elf, 18” tall x 13” wide; Traditional, 19.5” x 13”.

Materials

• Fat quarter (18” x 22”) for each of outer stocking fabric and lining fabric for
smaller stocking; ½ yard each for larger stocking (this is the most you'll need for a one-way directional print).
• Optional, but recommended: lightweight fusible interfacing
• ¼ yard cuff fabric
• 8" of 5/8" grosgrain ribbon or other hanging strap
• Optional for Elf Stocking: small bells or pompoms

The stockings are very cute and two sizes are great. But the pattern has the ribbon attached in the cuff side seam, causing the stocking to hang funny. When I made the second one, I sewed the ribbon in the cuff/stocking seam, and that solved the problem.

I looove the way the elf stocking turned out I made 8 lol they were so much fun and turned out to amazing I didnt make the other style but if it was anything like the efl style it will be amazing!
