Imagine spending Christmas in the peace and quiet of the country. You are in the fresh air, with good company, a roaring fire, and a bright star overhead. A hammock swings gently in the evening breeze. A lantern lights the words in your favorite book. If only life were so easy!
Here is a Christmas card from the Campground, in quilt form, to make and hang in your home.
The pattern for this quilt is straightforward. First you assemble the three layers of the quilt, cut out the appliques, then sew the appliques and quilt at the same time. The applique is an easy raw edge method. The pattern includes 18 detailed steps and 15 photos to guide you. There are 6 pages of applique templates. Directions for the hanging loops are also included.
The pattern also includes separate detailed directions for finishing the quilt with double fold binding.
