The finished appliques will measure either 7" wide or 7" high but you can adjust the size to any size you need.
You will use fabric and other supplies to create these cute appliques. The photo(s) is simply an example of what the finished item could look like.
My templates also come with LOTS tips, techniques, ideas, and any information that I think you will find helpful. I've even added a page of illustrations for the most popular embroidery stitches along with the stitches I used to create the applique shown. I give you an illustration and a photograph showing you what the finished project can look like. These are to guide you for correct placement of appliques as well as give you ideas for finishing by using other supplies.
All my illustrations and templates are drawn in a computer program so you will have neat and crisp lines. I also give you guides for where your stitching lines and embellishments will go.
Ideas for using the appliques:
Scrapbooking & card making
Clothing items such as aprons, shirts, baby bibs, jackets
Tote bags, book covers, tea towels
Placemats, pot holders, wall hangings, table runners
Christmas stockings, tree skirts, ornaments
The possibilities are ENDLESS!
You may use these appliques on items you plan to sell. Do not redistribute the pattern in any way or use these appliques as part of an item where you will be claiming the pattern or design for that item as your own.
Supplies needed to make appliques:
Fabric & felt scraps
Embroidery floss (I use 3 strands for stitching)
Paperbacked fusible webbing - I like to use Heat N Bond. They have a light which is great for items
you plan to sew through. They also have a heavy which works well for items that you will be
embellishing with paint, or that you plan to fuse to paper. It offers a strong hold. Be sure to follow the
manufacturer’s instructions fo the brand of webbing you are using.
Buttons, sequins, beads, ribbon, 3-demensional paint, fabric paint, rick rack, glitter, bells, wiggle
eyes, charms, or anything else you can think of that will add interest to your applique.
5” to 7” embroidery hoop(s), scissors, pins, needles (sewing, embroidery), paper & pencil, cardstock
(for printing pattern pieces), iron & ironing board
I've made my patterns very easy to read and understand. I give you a complete list of everything you will need to complete the project. I've broken everything down into step by step instructions and have included LOTS of full color photos and illustrations. The pattern pieces are very crisp and neatly drawn using a computer program.
