“Easy to make and looks so cute!”
This chick hat and bib is so adorable and comfortable. It’s practical too! It comes with its own white terry washcloth in the pocket (folded to look like an Easter egg of course).
The hat and bib are shown in yellow, but it could be made in any color. Ready-made bias tape is used for the ties on the hat and bib. This tape can be found to coordinate with any color chosen for the hat and bib.
The hat and bib are very easy to make-even for beginners! They are made from cotton fabric with fleece features. The fleece is stuffed with batting to add dimension to the feet and beak. Pink and blue rickrack is sewn to the washcloth to make it look like an Easter egg.
This PDF e-pattern includes full size patterns, a materials list, instructions written in English, and step-by-step photographs. The finished bib size is 7 ½” wide X 7” (from under the chin to the bottom of the bib). The hats will fit many sizes from infant to three years old. Five sizes are included in the patterns.
