If you are looking for a long sleeved dress pattern but want an alternative to the peasant style, Chelsea is your girl! This dress pattern has long sleeves and a button-up bib that gives just a little nod to nautical. Design options include flounce sleeves or plain hemmed sleeves, lengthen/shorten instructions for sleeves, hidden button or visible button placket and a ruffle or lace trimmed bib or plain bib. All options include full instructions.

Sizes included: 2T, 3T, 4T, 5, 6 and 8.

Level: Intermediate. Recommended for the sewist who can ease fabrics together or is able to follow the step-by-step instructions for doing so. Buttonholes are recommended and press-in snaps can be used. There is no zipper!

Absolutely LOVE this pattern! Instructions are clear and easy to understand, pictures are great and the end result is ADORABLE! I used this one to make my daughter's Christmas dress and she got SO many compliments!

Light to midweight cotton or cotton-blend fabric, 44” wide: 2T and 3T, 1-3/8 yards, sizes 4, 5 and 6, 1.5 yards, Size 8, 2 yards.
• Lining fabric – can be same fabric, muslin, or any similar weight to main: 1/3 yard
• If trimming bib, 24” x 1.75” strip of fabric or 1/2 yard of 1/2” wide to 5/8” wide trim (lace, rickrack, etc)
• Four 5/8” or ¾” buttons (or press-in snaps and a snap setting tool)
• Scraps of fusible interfacing recommended for hidden button option
